Spotlight on Ambrym, the young creative and artisanal French brand! Throughout her travels around the world, Gabrielle, the designer, trained with artisans in Wallis and Futuna but also in Rio de Janeiro. Back in France, she embarked on her first capsule by working with organic and natural materials and patterns inspired by her memories from the four corners of the planet and her dreams. The Ambrym collections take us into an imaginary world, filled with colour and joy. Each creation by Gabrielle is a true work of art, handmade in her small Parisian workshop.
Why Ambrym?
Quite simply because it is the name of a small island in Vanuatu. The inhabitants live there in all simplicity, in the most rudimentary comfort but in harmony with nature and within a magical setting. Simple, poetic, humanistic: these are the words that characterize the Ambrym collections, each of which bears evocative names inviting you to travel and dream. “The Mechanics of Reverie”, “Fragments of a Hanging Garden” or even “Nomadic Chronicles”: Gabrielle opens a door to her world.

The last line entitled “Les Joues Bleues” draws its inspiration from animals and nature, through dresses and tops silkscreened in a traditional way. Editions are limited and numbered on each woven label. The guarantee of owning an original and authentic designer piece! Gabrielle offers loose fittings, which will adapt to all body types and works on a range of colours that are easy to wear on a daily basis and to combine. Each model is an invitation to freedom and an ode to nature. But Ambrym is not limited to clothes! The young French label declines its creations on cotton bags, the famous “tote-bag” essential for shopping, but also offers watercolours on paper.
